Science Fair

The Science Fair went by! I had to make a compound machine. I had to use 2 or more simple machines. For my project i used 2 inclined planes and a lever. Anyways my machine is called...

M&M-omatic Giver(!!!!!!!!!)

It gives M&Ms! So here is how it works: There is a card board incline which you roll a heavy ball ( Not too heavy like a bowling ball but like a small marble that is pretty heavy). It hits the side of a styrofoam sheet thingy ( that's the lever, for the fulcrum we used a nail and stuck it in a box. When the... ?! Wait! Let me tell you one more thing. On the other side of the styrofoam thing there's a popsicle stick. A string is tied to the stick and the other side of the string is tied to the door. The door by the way is an icebreaker cover which is fixed into a box. So when the ball fall on one side of the lever it will go down and the other side will go up.Now since the side that is up is the side which the stick is in, the stick will go up. The stick will pull the string which will pull the door open. After testing it put M&Ms in the box and try it. FYI you know how I said 2 inclined planes? Well, the other incline is there for the M&Ms. When the M&Ms come out they will roll down the incline. YUM!

Here is how my machine looks like:

The ball is this:

The lever is this:

This is the Box!
