Kolkata/Calcutta

All my grandparents live in Kolkata. My parents were born there. I have been there many times. India is very warm. For them cold is like the middle of fall in America. They do not know how cold it is here, in America. The worst part for me and everyone in another country (besides India) is the... the... I am tired of it so much that I can't say it but I will... Traffic!!!! The worst thing that is possible in India is Traffic!
Anyways  I gone to India last fall. I could live without  traffic forever!  Everything else is perfect ( for India). FYI I have a journal my teacher gave me so I could write everthing in it. I started to write a poem in my journal on the plane to India and finished it in India. Here it is:

Kolkata

Kolkata Kolkata your my favorite mate
Your history and fantasy is really really great!
The city is fabulous but, very hard to get through
It will give you a headache maybe one maybe two
The honking cars, the barking dogs,
The yelling people and the winter smogs
All make a mush thats not easy to push
As I wait for a taxi to come
I stand in the hot hot burning sun
I get impatient as I wait and I wait
In my head a voice is saying the taxi is late!
"Uh!" I grumble as I stare at the street
I see a group of people and guess who I meet...
My cousins and friends
It never ends
The people I see
Are related to me
 "No more taxi! Yipee!!"
I shouted with glee
Well, that's enough about Kolkata
If you want to go too it is a pleasure to bring you
Kolkata Kolkata your very unique
No other city has Kolkata's technique

So that is a poem
I have written today
writer Aunnesha Bhowmick
I say!

That is my poem. I hope you go to India!

PS: Try to avoid traffic, though I do not think it is possible.

My Horoscope... Changed!

Hey dudes and dudetts,
I am not very happy - ish anymore. I feel bitter-sweet. The horoscopes have changed. I changed! Other people changed! To me it feels like the world changed! Well, not for everyone some people still have it the old way.
Here is the story, I wouldn't call it a story I was  Sagittarius but now I am the one and only Ophiuchus! The new horoscope. I feel bitter sweet because I loved the old friendly arrow ( the arrow is the power of Sagittarius) thats the bitter part. The sweet part is that I am very lucky because I got the new horoscope!!!!
My Dad changed. He was old twiny twin twin :Gemini. My mother was Taurus. She is still Taurus.
That's it...   Wait! I have a question. Why does the dates end and start the same. Here is an example:       Capricorn: Jan. 20 – Feb. 16
Aquarius: Feb. 16 – March 11

So Capricorn ends on Feb.16 and Aquarius starts on Feb.16. If anybody has a birthday on that day then which horoscope does that person have? If you have the answer to my question then please e-mail me the answer at aunnesha@gmail.com

Horoscope change!

Pisces: March 11- April 18
Aries: April 18- May 13

My poem: Deer In My Backyard

Deer in my backyard scurried across the pearly white snow as the deer wander searching for food, they leave tracks in the winter weather
First only two deer were spotted with my keen eyes I tried not to make a sound loud enough that the deer could hear it
As I peered through the trees in the forest I found 7 more deer prancing across the snow and snapping the dead branches on the ground with thier hard hooves they joined the other two deer
"Did Santa send his nine reindeer in my backyard?" I thought to myself if they really were Prancer, Dancer, Dasher, Vixen, Coment, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and last but not least Rudoph!
A fearful "BOOM" filled the air which made the deer run away I sat down  on the kitchen chair that was next to the kitchen window and looked at the reindeers left over, their footprints "Come back tonight on Christmas" I whispered to myself

Setting: Kitchen Window
Character(s): The Reindeer
Day: Chirstmas Eve
