Write #2

India just won this trophy in Cricket- my Dad and Mom are going crazy and I'm clueless.... I'm trying to figure out what cricket is! I tried asking my friends but they were also clueless. First I thought that they were thinking about the bug, cricket but then I thought about it and  reminded myself that Cricket won. How could a bug win? Then I thought it was a type of plant but I had the same problem. A plant can't win! What could win? I think I got it. It could be a guy who won fighting, it could be a wrestling match's special name or it could be a special name for a tornado, tsunami, hurricane or any natural disaster. I think it's a guy who won fighting. But I'm not sure. My teacher knows exactly what cricket is,but she wouldn't tell us. Everybody in my class is now trying to figure out what it is! We begged my teacher but she wouldn't budge. My teacher gave us an idea. Every Friday we have a secret meeting in the town park in the top secret tree trunk. Our teacher gives us jobs. She hides clues in the world and in the internet but out teacher made our parents lock all sport websites. We have four or two people in one group if it is a four people group we guessed we have to split up. She gives a job and in that job we get a clue. The jobs helps our teacher and other members of the school get work done and it also helps us figure out what Cricket is. We haven't started yet but this is how it's like. My friend and I got the job to mop closets. We bumped into a medal pole. In sharpie a note written. It will give a clue and if it is a piece of paper or something we can pick up and transport, it will have a part of a small paragraph. In the meetings we discuss and put together the clues. We have a group e-mail that everyone can log into if they know the password and is in the group. Our password is cricket. If we find an online clue we send it to the group e-mail. I bring a laptop to the meetings so we can check the clues.

We are half way done. Our paragraph says : Cricket is a game that is from India. It uses a bat and ball. India won the World Cup in Cricket. That's all we got. ...

Few weeks later

We finally finished! We figured out that Cricket was a sport related to baseball ( Or that what we thought) We figured out the rules of the game in the paragraph. We told our teacher the information. We were correct. That was the most fun way to figure out something! It took us about a month but now I can cheer with my parents when they mention about Cricket!

Write #1

I'm going to call it Write #1

My basketball said it would never play with me. His name is BB. So, Now I have no sports to play. I do not understand why! This was our last conversation :

BB : I will not play with you

Me: Fine! ????

BB: I am more finer than you!

Me: Fine!!

BB: I am the finest basket ball!!!!

ME: FINE!!!

BB: STOP IT!!!

Me: Stop what?

BB: Arghhh! ( BB rolls away to my ball bag)

Alright! I do know what he said stop for and I was just teasing him all along! I haven't seen him in a week or so. I guess that's okay.

TWO WEEKS LATER...

Yapee!! I found a new sport to play! Well, I'm kinda having a hard time to choose which one to play. They're both so fun. They are tennis and volleyball. I have to think about it. Let's go to BB.

Hi BB!... No response? Well that's kinda odd. Let me check in the bag. Why, hello BB? "Wanna play!!" Why are you yelling at me? Anyways Umm.. Well, I'm kinda gonna practice volleyball right now.  "So you don't have time for me? Do ya? "
Well, you never came ------
"Came??? Came????? I'm suppose to come to ya? Now you make me more angry!!!" BB! Don't go! Why are you angry at me? ... BB's gone now so I guess I'll just play volleyball now.

AT A VOLLEYBALL COURT
Hey Guys! Let's play! ... I saw BB at the corner of my eye. To tell you my ears are super sensitive. I heard him say that he is so jealous and sad because I'm playing other sports now.

AFTER DINNER
I do kinda miss BB but I can't just give up tennis and volleyball. I made up my mind that I will play tennis in the summer and volleyball in the rest of the season's. Well, tomorrow I'm going to sign up for the sports.

TOMORROW AT THE SIGN UP PLACE

I am so excited to sign up! ... I'm done signing up. There is more!!!! I found out that you can take basketball on Monday and Tuesday. Take volley ball on Wednesday and Thursday and take tennis on Friday! So I'm doing that. It is Sunday morning today! So tomorrow I start!

SUNDAY AFTERNOON

I told BB about it. He is not angry anymore. BB and I are so excited!

SUNDAY NIGHT

BB is asleep. I am going to sleep too. I told BB that I will always love him and that I always will play with BB. My activities start tomorrow so I have to get a goodnight sleep. I better start sleeping now so goodnight!!

First line

Me and my dad are doing something fun. My dad e-mails me a first line and I write the rest of the story! This was my first story:

As I walked down the dark alley, a squeaky voice inside my coat pocket said," Someone is following us!"........
I turned around." Ahhh!!" I screamed. Then I looked closely. It was just a trash can with a melon on top. "Whew! Who was that voice? It sounded familiar!" I asked myself. "Well," I said as I yawned "I'm to tired to think now."     ...    I was going to put my jacket away when I saw a lump in my pocket. I put my hand in it. It felt furry. " A rat!" I squealed quietly. Then, right next to it I felt something hard as plastic. Frightened, I went to sleep. Next morning I crept up to the jacket which was on the laying on the floor. I shoved my hand in the pocket, grabbed the furry object and threw it in the air. When it landed on the floor I poked it with a ruler.  I touched it tail. " What!? It's just that fake ( With fake fur) shrew from the play! What a fool I was! But, who said the words?" I took the jacket, put my hand in the pocket and took the hard thing out. " It all makes sense now! The hard thing was a tape recorder! Now I remember that my friend and I were recording stuff and turned our voices high! There is nothing to worry about anymore."
